Look & Design
Trendy and elegant
The timeless design of MUTE TUBE blends well
in every home environment
The operational principle of the Mute-Tube is grounded on sound absorption, which is accomplished by means of two specialized acoustic layers embedded in the interior of the tube in proportion to its air volume.
This design provides a high level of damping, ensuring a pleasurable playing experience.
The innovative aspect of the MUTE TUBE is that the instrument is inserted into the absorption unit, with an optimal depth of approximately 10-20 cm.
This placement significantly reduces sound reflection, creating a peaceful indoor environment while minimizing disturbance to neighboring rooms. Moreover, the musician's sound experience remains unaffected, as the unrestricted instrument airflow allows for an enjoyable playing experience.
4 TIMES VOLUME REDUCTION!
The mute tube provides exceptional sound absorption, reducing the volume level of the trumpet or flugelhorn by more than 25 dB. This results in a muted average volume level of 60-70 dB, compared to the unmuted trumpet volume that can exceed 90 dB.
For undisturbed practice, effective sound absorption is often required. The mute tube provides excellent acoustic properties at a considerably lower cost compared to expensive soundproof cabins, making it a viable alternative for many musicians.
The model mute tube professional boasts a 3-pin microphone jack (XLR/Female) positioned at the lower end and underside of its interior, allowing for direct connection of your microphone. The external microphone jack (XLR/male) can be easily linked to any XLR microphone cable.

The following video shows an application of a trumpet track (recorded with Mute Tube) in a band project:
The stand and inclination adapter of the tube can be easily adjusted using screws to achieve the desired playing position, including height and angle. As the trumpet is played deeper into the tube, the volume is reduced, resulting in a quieter reflected sound.
A music holder can be attached to the top of the unit, and the MUTE TUBE can be easily mounted or dismounted within seconds. It can also be conveniently stored in a compact space measuring ∅32 x 50 cm.
Crafted from steel and finished with a high-gloss finish, the unit is not only functional but also serves as a stylish piece of furniture.
